Our instructors

Emily is the owner of Studio 5678, as well as a dance instructor at the studio. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and baton. Emily trained in these various dance styles for 16 years and continued to dance after completing her training. She can't imagine a world where she isn't dancing. She has been teaching dance for 17 years, and she

She has been teaching dance for 17 years, and she has a passion to see her students develop and grow in their dance technique. Emily opened Studio 5678 in 2015, but taught at other studios before opening her own studio. Emily has owned studios in both Union City and Martin but has settled down in Martin. Emily hopes to see all of the students at Studio 5678 excel!

Lanna Kate is a UTM student and Dance Education major. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and  contemporary dance styles. She has been dancing for a total of 9 years and has a love for the art form. She is trained to dance ballet en pointe, as well. She is currently a member of the UTM Dance Ensemble, where each year they perfo

Lanna Kate is a UTM student and Dance Education major. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and  contemporary dance styles. She has been dancing for a total of 9 years and has a love for the art form. She is trained to dance ballet en pointe, as well. She is currently a member of the UTM Dance Ensemble, where each year they perform one show per semester. Lanna Kate owns a character entertainment business in Martin, as well, where she works with children often. She loves working with children and students of all ages. She hopes to cultivate a love of dance in all of her students and is passionate to encourage students to grow in their dance abilities. 

Bryleigh has been dancing for 16 years, and she has been training with Studio 5678 since its opening. She is trained in numerous styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, pompom, and baton. She studied dance at Studio 5678 throughout her high school career. Bryleigh was also on the competition cheer team at her high school. She now continu

She now continues to express her love for dance on the UTM Pom Squad, where she performs dance routines for numerous school events! Bryleigh loves to teach the younger dancers and hopes to be a good role model for her students encouraging them to be the best dancers they can be! 

Temple is a native to our area, as she grew up in the neighboring town of Union City. She has been dancing for 11 years, and she instructs hip-hop at Studio 5678. She is trained in ballet, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop dance styles. She has competed in dance competitions over the years. Temple is full of life, bubbly, and energetic--a perfect

Temple is a native to our area, as she grew up in the neighboring town of Union City. She has been dancing for 11 years, and she instructs hip-hop at Studio 5678. She is trained in ballet, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop dance styles. She has competed in dance competitions over the years. Temple is full of life, bubbly, and energetic--a perfect fit for teaching our younger and elementary aged dancers! She  loves to see her students engaged and excited to learn. She aspires to help children work towards their dreams as dancers!

Sophia is a gymnast and cheerleader. She began gymnastics when she was only three years old, and she has been tumbling for 16  years now. Sophia cheered for seven years for her high school, Columbus High School. Sophia has experience as a UTM cheerleader,  and is currently working as a full time nursing student at UTM and teaching dance h

Sophia has experience as a UTM cheerleader,  and is currently working as a full time nursing student at UTM and teaching dance here at Studio 5678. Sophia taught gymnastics in St. Louis for three years, and she is now our tumble instructor at Studio 5678! She absolutely loves seeing her students hard work pay off and being able to celebrate with them when they master a new skill!

Hailey Smith is twenty years old and is currently a student at Dyersburg State Community College, majoring in Health Information Management. She has been dancing for ten years, with seven of those years being at Studio 5678! She is trained in ballet, jazz and lyrical dance styles. Hailey is very passionate about dance, and she is excited
